The performance “beat bound “ features cello, self-made jump rope and voice. In its extended version, the performance entails the spinning of raw materials into a skipping rope interspersed by musical episodes featuring songs and short compositions for cello and jump rope, exploring slack ropes, tense ropes and the ephemerality of the weightlessness of string whilst in motion.
